In 1999 Apardion trialled a market in the courtyard of The Academy Shopping Centre. Now in it's tenth year, it has become one of Scotland’s largest monthly street market and many successful local businesses began trading at the event.
Aberdeen Country Fair can be found along Belmont Street, in the heart of Aberdeen, on the last Saturday of every month. Located between Union Street and Schoolhill, Aberdeen Country Fair attracts up to 80,000 people per event, and adds a real cosmopolitan feel to the area.
The market provides local farmers and crafters the opportunity to showcase their quality home-grown and handcrafted products. A typical Aberdeen Country Fair will feature everything from Aberdeen Angus beef, fish, local fruit and vegetables, baking, cheeses, confectionery, Scottish whisky, wines, jewellery and handmade crafts.
